Cape Breton Highlands National Park

Established in 1936, Cape Breton Highlands National Park preserves nearly 1,000 square kilometres of northern Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. The park houses a collection of natural and man-made landmarks, including Highlands Links, the Chéticamp River, and the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.

Visitors can explore the park with ease via the world-famous Cabot Trail, traveling through the park offering spectacular views along the way. Outdoor activities at the park include hiking the park’s 26 trails, picnicking, ocean kayaking, golfing, and much more.
